Florian Haller, Germany

Florian Haller was born in Munich in 1967. After studying economics in St. Gallen, he took up his first post as a customer consultant for Lintas advertising agency in New York.
Then he moved on to Procter & Gamble in 1992, where he spent five years. Here he initially worked as category manager for dishwashing in the European headquarters in Brussels, and later moved to Geneva to act as brand manager for household products. In 1996, he began to work as managing director for Dritte Werbeagentur with Serviceplan. In 2000, he moved to become managing director of Serviceplan’s agency group holding.
In July 2002, Haller took over as CEO of the Serviceplan Group. The trade journal Horizont voted him ‘Agency Man of the Year’ in 2006. In 2010, W&V magazine nominated him as ‘Media Personality of the Year’.
In 2011, he made his first appearance at the opening event of the Münchner Medientage congress as one of the "heavyweights" of the agency scene, giving a keynote speech. In 2012, the magazine "wuv" voted him the most creative and innovative manager in the communications industry. The magazine's editorial team ranked Haller at the top of the list of the 100 most important managers in advertising, media and marketing for 2012.
