Kristine Köhler, Germany

Kristine Köhler manages an inter-disciplinary and multi-sector innovation platform for Climate-KIC, an initiative of the European Institute for Innovation & Technology (EIT).

With over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and partnership/network development spanning various sectors (water, technology, financial services, retail, international development) in the USA and Europe, Kristine has a unique perspective on how to connect, innovate and build new programs. At Climate-KIC, she works closely with a network of organisations, start-ups and university partners to shape near-term ‘climate markets’ for sustainable resilient cities. Accelerating low-carbon mobility innovations is an integral part of this goal and of Climate-KIC’s Sustainable City Systems platform and projects. Kristine holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship & Marketing from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is a dual national (German/USA).
