Udo Gattenlöhner is Executive Director of Global Nature Fund since 2002.Udo Gattenlöhner graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Hohenheim (Germany). From 1991 to 1996 he worked as a project director for the German Environmental Aid Association (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) and the Lake Constance Foundation in Germany. From 1996 to 1998 he was appointed director of the “Model Project Constance”, an EU supported “LIFE-project” carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of Baden-Württemberg. In 1999 Udo Gattenlöhner joined Global Nature Fund and was appointed Executive Director of Global Nature Fund in 2002. Udo Gattenlöhner has broad experiences in developing and managing various projects, i.e. in the agricultural sector, water management, wetland restoration and renewable energy on national and international level. He coordinated many international events and conferences and acted as the lead editor of various publications.
