Alexa Morrison, Great Britain

Alexa Morrison is the standards development and operations manager at the Plan Vivo Foundation.

The Plan Vivo Standard is a voluntary certification standard connecting the rural poor to carbon finance for sustainable land-use and livelihood development. It has so far been used to connect over 10,000 smallholder farmers and community groups in rural poor areas of 15 developing countries, to businesses in developed countries wishing to take voluntary action on climate change and environmental degradation. Alexa has a background in law and environmental sustainability; research into the ethics of voluntary carbon markets led her to working with Plan Vivo.
